Sunderbans being one of the most beautiful places in West Bengal was badly affected by the cyclone 'Yaas' on 26th May 2021. The villagers were trying hard to overcome the after effects of the cyclone 'Amphan' that hit on 20th May, 2020 along with the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic that they had to face another cyclone. Healthcare emerged to be a challenge for the local residents. Keeping the current scenario of the villagers of Sunderbans, #MercyHospital took an initiative of organizing a Health Camp at Pathor Protima, Sunderbans, 2021 with all the necessary safety measures of COVID -19 in mind. In the camp, medicines were distributed free of cost along with the consultation from the doctor.

The villagers were trying hard to overcome the after effects of the cyclone along with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Healthcare emerged to be a challenge for the local residents. Keeping the current scenario of the villagers of Sunderbans, #MercyHospital took an initiative of organizing a Health Camp at Piyali Island, Sagar Island & Jharkhali on the 12th December and 19th December 2020 and 3rd January 2021 with all the necessary safety measures of COVID -19 in mind.

In the camp, medicines were distributed free of cost along with proper consultation from doctors. Blankets were distributed by Ananta Seva Foundation for the hard winters.
